This is my take on the Tengu (heavenly dog)
Yokai (or monster) of Japanese folklore and are often worshiped as "Shinto Kami" (revered spirits or gods)
although the name partially means dog they take on the forms of birds of prey and are often depicted with with human qualities
they are also known as the gods of mischief
